Captured in a moment of majestic motion, the crystal horse is sculpted from a single block, a technical feat achieved through the prowess of a Meilleur Ouvrier de France and Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres at the Baccarat Manufacture. The horse’s wings, fully adorned with real feathers—290 goose feathers and 330 duck plumes—are the result of the rare expertise of Maison Lemarié. The supporting armature was entrusted to Maison Goossens, a renowned goldsmith and haute couture jeweler. Dipped in 24-carat gold and delicately patinated, it contrasts beautifully with the brilliance of the crystal and enhances the sculpture’s elegance.
