CRYSTAL CRYPT BY EMMANUELLE LUCIANI
To mark its return to Milan Design Week, Baccarat will unveil new creations in the heart of the Brera district, in an immersive, sci-fi-inspired installation by artist Emmanuelle Luciani that will reveals the Maison’s latest creations, including an exclusive collaboration with British designer Bethan Laura Wood.

ARTIST, SCENOGRAPHER & CHOREOGRAPHER
Emmanuelle Luciani practices a contextual form of art, building hybrid worlds and total artworks in which popular cultures, heritage, science fiction, and craftsmanship merge. Her work revolves around specific projects such as large-scale performances for which she designs the set, scenography, and choreography, but also includes object design, exhibitions, and performances.

BETHAN LAURA WOOD
DESIGNER
Bethan Laura Wood has run a multidisciplinary studio since 2009 characterised by materials investigation, artisan collaboration and a passion for colour and detail. Residencies and location-based projects have become an important factor in her design process, often working in response to her location, in collaboration with local manufacturers, or reflecting back into her work the visual and material culture particular to that area.
