A celebration of wildlife, Cecil is Baccarat's first lion. A masterpiece of crystal designed by Allison Hawkes and created by the uniquely skilled artisans of our Manufacture. Handcrafted, this sculpture required the expert hands of a Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres, a Meilleur Ouvrier de France and several crystal cutters to re-create the powerful majesty of the king of the savannah. The feline rests on a pedestal of Macassar ebony. A victim turned symbol of animal poaching, Cecil the lion was illegally hunted in Zimbabwe in 2015. His name is now synonymous with the protection of this highly endangered species. Baccarat pays tribute to him through this exceptional creation. Limited edition of 99 pieces.
